Our School

Tri-Community Elementary School is one of 13 elementary schools in the Central Dauphin School District and enrolls more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade 5.  Class sizes range from 20-25.  Our mascot is the bulldog and our school colors are red and black. Students from Tri-Community Elementary School will attend Swatara Middle School and then Central Dauphin East High School.

 
Here are some quick facts about Tri-C:

  • Meals - All students at Tri-C receive a free breakfast and free lunch.
  • Technology - Each classroom has 6-10 student Chromebooks and an interactive smart board or projection system.
  • Recess - Kindergarten has a 15 minute recess and 1st - 5th grades have a 30 minute recess daily.
  • Creative Arts - Students in 1st - 5th grade have art, music, physical education, and library once per cycle. 
  • Music Enrichment - Students in 4th and 5th grade may choose to participate in chorus, orchestra, and/or band.
  • Events - Tri-C staff hold monthly events such as Brain Gain Learning Night, Family Fun Night, STEM night, and a Valentines Dance to name a few. 
  • Birthday Treats - We know that birthdays are special, however we can not accept any treats to share with the class on this day. Thank you for respecting this rule.
